Subject: Motor Mount Enhancement for Optimal Shaft Durability
We have received an abnormally high amount of reported “shaft failures” on the 0808 motors in upgraded Arrma GROM vehicles. If you are using the stock motor mount with anything other than stock (16T Granite; 18T Typhon; 19T Mojave) pinion, you must use an optional motor mount package to avoid tight gear mesh and excessive side load on the motor shaft; which will likely lead to the shaft sheering off. That’s no fun!

Recommended to use Standalone receiver/ESC mount and remove stock ESC/receiver (ARA320753)
