PRODUCT UPDATE: MAMBA MICRO X2
An ongoing supply chain disruption has affected our ability to manufacture the MAMBA MICRO X2 and SIDEWINDER MICRO 2 controllers for the past five months. The components which are unavailable pertain to the on board adjustable 2-amp BEC (battery eliminator circuit) feature. We have determined, until such time that the part is widely available again (up to 12 months), to remove the on-board BEC feature from the MAMBA MICRO X2 and discontinue manufacturing the SIDEWINDER MICRO 2.
The CC BEC 10 AMP will be packaged with all Mamba Micro X2 ESC.
Going forward, the MAMBA MICRO X2 will include an external accessory BEC, the popular CASTLE 10-AMP CC BEC (010-0004-00), with every unit in lieu of the on-board BEC (a $24 value). The revised MAMBA MICRO X2 with no internal BEC will enter production in late August. The bundled CASTLE 10-AMP BEC will be included at no additional cost and the external BEC will be enclosed within the ESC packaging along with printed information regarding installation and use.
